Stumbled around this park while walking around the neighbourhood and immediately fell in love. This is why I came to Maine - to see trees and woods! But well, it was a simple and lonesome trip - it builds character, she promises. (at Baxter Woods)

Southington - my home away from home. This small town will always have a place in my heart and I hope (will) to come back one day. It may be years or decades later but I will always remember all the amazing people I’ve met.

To my friends at camp - I am forever grateful for your simple act of saying hi and getting to know a total foreign stranger. Your openness and encouragement has made me a stronger and more confident person than I was before I came. And, of course, thank you for the rides home! Please be good to the next international counselor :) With that said, hit me up if you wanna come visit my island home! It’s far but take a chance - at least you know you have a friend on the other side of the world!

To my loving host families who not only opened their homes to a stranger, but welcomed me into their family. I will always treasure our conversations over dinner and wine - be assured that I will share with the people back home that America really isn’t that bad but has some of the most amazing and genuine people I’ve ever met. I really can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me. I hope to share the same hospitality WHEN you come visit :)
